6kg Gas Refill in Kenya with Delivery — Permalli Gas Suppliers

A 6kg gas refill is the practical choice for small households, bedsitters, students, and anyone using a single-burner gas cooker. It is affordable, easy to handle, and lasts longer than many Kenyan households expect when used for everyday cooking.

This guide explains the verified price of a 6kg gas refill in Kenya, who the 6kg cylinder is best suited for, how to order online, and what to check before delivery. It also introduces Permalli Gas Suppliers, an EPRA Certified Hub (#THK-0842) based in Ngoingwa Estate, Thika, Kiambu County, and shows customers how to confirm delivery coverage—and ask about same-day delivery—to their location in Nairobi or surrounding areas.

What Is a 6kg Gas Refill?

A 6kg gas refill means exchanging your empty 6kg LPG cylinder for a full one, or buying a new 6kg cylinder that already contains gas. The 6kg size is the smallest common cooking gas cylinder sold in Kenya, making it ideal for:

• Small households of one to two people
• Bedsitters and studio apartments
• Student hostels and shared accommodation
• Homes with a single-burner or portable gas cooker
• Households that use gas occasionally and want to avoid tying up capital in a larger cylinder

Because the cylinder is lightweight and compact, it is also easier to transport and store than the 13kg or 50kg alternatives.

Verified 6kg Gas Refill Price in Kenya

The following price was verified from Permalli Gas Suppliers’ published refill configurator:

Important: This price applies at Permalli Gas Suppliers’ Thika depot and may vary by location, brand, and delivery zone. Delivery fees, where applicable, are added on top of the gas price. Always confirm the total cost before paying.

Orders over KSh 1,500 may qualify for a free hose connection, pressure leak check, and regulator calibration.

Cooking Gas Cylinder Size Comparison

If you are deciding whether a 6kg cylinder is the right size, here is how the common options compare:

The 6kg cylinder costs less upfront and is easier to manage in small spaces. However, if you cook daily for a large family, a 13kg cylinder may offer better value over time because you refill less frequently.

Permalli Gas Suppliers supplies EPRA-recognised brands for cylinder refills and exchanges. Verified brands include:

• Pro-Gas
• K-Gas
• TotalEnergies
• Afrigas

• Store cylinders upright in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and open flames.
• Keep cylinders out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not store cylinders in bedrooms or enclosed cupboards.
• If you smell gas, turn off the regulator, open doors and windows, and avoid switching electrical devices on or off.
• Never use a flame to check for leaks. Use soapy water on connections; bubbles indicate a leak.
• Replace gas hoses every two years or sooner if cracks appear.
• Replace regulators every five years or as recommended by a qualified technician.
